If Monday night's Town Board organizational meeting was any indication, this year could end up being a very contentious one for town politics.
The meeting, which was scheduled to appoint positions and declare town procedures for the year, was also the first meeting for two new board members, Richard Fennelly, a Democrat, and James Mihalko, a Conservative.
Fennelly came on strong right off the bat, questioning the ethics of councilman Robert Ashe voting to reappoint Linda Mandel-Clemente for town counsel. Her husband is Ashe's boss at his job at Bonded Concrete.
