Chimo

Chimo David Collier, 128 pgs, Conundrum Press, conundrumpress.com, $17

David Collier has been called more of an essayist who uses comics as a medium, rather than a traditional cartoonist. Much of his work tends towards the non-fictional, such as biographical books on Harvey Pekar and the wrongfully-imprisoned David Milgaard. Much of Chimo is Collier's story, but with digressions into history and background information the average reader might not know.
